Tri-Association
The American Schools Association of Central American, Colombia, Caribbean & Mexico is a service organization with a special relationship to three regional associations: The Association of American Schools of Central America, the Colombian-Caribbean, Association of American Schools, and the Association of American Schools of Mexico. The American Schools Association of Central America, Colombia, Caribbean and Mexico works together with more than sixty schools in order to ensure success for all students via:
ACCAS is one of three regional associations (AASSA, ASOMAX) affiliated with the Tri-Association which represents the AdvancED accredited schools in Central and South America and the Caribbean. Its membership of 24 schools supports the continuation of an American education in the Caribbean region and Colombia by sponsoring and encouraging school improvement, staff development and teacher and student interactions. New members must be either US-accredited institutions or candidates for accreditation. ISS has been a member of ACCAS since August 2000. www.accas.org
Academy for International School Heads (AISH)
The Academy for International School Heads (AISH) is a non-profit, member-based professional organization, dedicated to support, professional development, advocacy, and making a significant contribution to the future of leading and learning. It was founded in 1999 by 15 organizations and individuals.
Principals' Training Center for International School Leadership (PTC)
PTC was founded in 1989 to meet the professional development needs of leaders in international schools. Over 2500 international educators have participated in PTC training programs.
Teacher Training Center (TTC)
TCC, a program sponsored by the Principals' Training Center, provides training in classroom instructional and assessment strategies, uniquely tailored to the needs of the international school.

- Exploring ways to achieve better understanding through international education;
- Improving the quality of teaching and learning in member schools by providing professional development opportunities for teachers and administrators;
- Providing an avenue for communication and cooperation among member institutions
- Facilitating cooperation with national, state, local, and non-governmental state, local, and non-governmental agencies in the field of international education.
