Hello Pre K-3 Parents and guardians! Just a reminder that the ISS science fair will be taking place this Wednesday, March 25th. Come and see your child do their science experiment at 8:15 am in our classroom. Our little scientists will be waiting and ready for you!
Hello everyone. There are a couple of dates to keep in mind for the upcoming week:
Friday, March 6th: Spirit Day--students can come to school in regular clothing
Monday, March 9th: Yearbook photos--The school yearbook team will be coming around to our classroom to take photos of our children. Please remember to send a white school uniform polo shirt on this day.
Thursday, March 12th: Half day---Students will be dismissed at 12 pm on this day as teachers have professional development during the afternoon.
Thanks again for all of your support and collaboration!
Today during math time, we observed bubbles! We compared bubbles to circular objects and talked about how they were alike, and how they are different. After that, we looked around the room, and brainstormed other bubble-shaped objects. The kids came up with some great ideas! We learned that bubble-shaped objects are called spheres. At home, try going on a sphere hunt with your child. They have some great observing-eyes!
