Pre-School
The ISS Pre-School is housed in a building equipped with its own playground and two gazebos for outdoor activities and play. In 2008, the ISS Board of Directors made the decision to adopt the Montessori philosophy of education in the Preschool. The Pre-School is divided into two groups, the Infant group for 1 and a half to two and a half year olds and the PreK group for three and four year olds. There are three lead teachers and one teacher assistant (nanny) that facilitate and guide the learning process using Montessori instructional strategies and resources.
