Support Services

Our purpose is to provide specialized services that support the educational goals of the school to enhance the student learning experiences that are essential and integral for ISSOSUA. These operational services are provided by the Admissions, Finance, Guidance Counseling, School Doctor, and Registrar team members to meet the needs of all students and staff.

Admissions Officer
The Admissions Officer seeks to enhance the ISSOSUA experience for our constituents, including prospect and current students and their families, by providing support in different areas such as Admissions and Alumni Relations.

Finance Officer
The Finance Officer coordinates a variety of functions such as the school’s financial management, accounting, purchasing, warehousing, human resources management, payroll, healthcare, and the school store.

Learning Support Specialist
Our Learning Support Specialist office is dedicated to fostering academic success for every student. We offer tailored resources and guidance to help students overcome academic challenges, develop effective study habits, and achieve their full potential. Whether it’s support with finding additional tutoring or creating personalized learning plans with teachers, our office is here to support your child’s educational journey.

Guidance Counseling
Navigating the world of international education can be tricky; choosing the right career path or country for your children is key. Our guidance counseling office supports students and families in the process of selecting and carrying out the proper steps to ensure a successful process; from the essay writing to the financial aid.

School Doctor
Health plays an important role in the learning process of each child. At ISS we care about ensuring a complete medical service that allows your child and our staff to spend their time in school as healthy as possible. Our school doctor is readily available to provide the quickest medical support.

School Registrar
Being a school that is home to over 30 nationalities means that we need to provide additional support during our admissions process. Our school registrar supports incoming families in ensuring that they make the smoothest transition into the Dominican Republic educational system.
